Pick-up Turrialba

To directly get to your accommodations of choice from San José Airport, use our 24 hour pick-up service.
A taxi driver from the school, carrying a sign with your name, will drive you to the school, your host family or hotel of choice in Turrialba. The trip takes about 90 minutes.

School stay

If you like to be independent, yet share with fellow students, we recommend staying at the school. Most rooms are to be shared by 2 students and there is one room that can be used by 3 students. If you prefer to have your own space, we also have private rooms and even a private room with private bathroom. The bathrooms are always shared. In all schools we have two kitchens available for students. You can also order continental breakfast for $4. There is a balcony with a beautiful view of the volcano and the jungle in front of the school where you can spot sloth’s, toucans and lots of other birds.

Home stay

We are very proud of our homestay program in Turrialba. Living with a local family is a unique experience that will provide you with the opportunity to not only learn the language but also explore the culture. Our host families have been carefully selected. They love to share their culture with you by for example taking you to family parties. The rooms are private and have shared bathrooms. Home stays include breakfast, dinner and laundry. Food is typical Costa Rican, nevertheless most families can adapt a little upon request (e.g. considering people's diets). If you don't use our pick-up service from the Airport of San José to Turrialba, you need to call the school to let us know at what time you will arrive in Turrialba so your host family can welcome you at the bus station in Turrialba.

Hotel stay

There are various hotels in Turrialba to choose from. In the center of town, there is a budget hotel as well as a middle class hotel that we can recommend. Mountain hotels from middle to upper class can be found in the surroundings. In the reservation form you can write your suggestions on hotels.

Pick-up package Panama City - Bocas

In order to easily get from Panama City to your accommodation of choice in Bocas, you can make use of our pick-up package which means you will be welcomed by a taxi driver carrying a sign with your name, at the International Airport (Tocumen ). He will then take you to the hotel that we use in Panama City (La Casa de Carmen), where you will have a private room, breakfast and internet use. Next morning or afternoon you will be taken from the hotel to the other, (Domestic) Airport, called Albrook for your one hour flight to Bocas del Toro. At the Airport of Bocas, there will be a staff member of the school to take you to your accommodation and show you around town. The walking tour ends at the school where you will receive information about the school. The pick-up package includes all taxi trips, one night at the hotel, the domestic flight and the pick-up in Bocas.

We have 3 rooms that can be shared by 2 students and one room to be shared by 3 students, but if you don't mind paying a little more you can have your private room. The bathrooms are always shared. We also have a shared kitchen to your disposal and a communal space where students can study, chat or watch TV together. Furthermore, we offer a continental breakfast for $2.50.

Bed & Breakfast

Living with a local family is a unique experience that will provide you with the opportunity to not only learn the language but also learn a bit more about the culture. The rooms are private and have shared bathrooms. The B&B stay includes breakfast. Breakfast is typical Panamanian, nevertheless the family can adapt a little upon request (e.g. considering your diet). In Bocas you need to first go the school so once we are sure the family is home, we explain you how to get there walking or by taxi.

Hotel stay

There are various hotels in Bocas to choose from. Most are all at walking distance from the school. You can make arrangements yourself or ask us to help you. The budget hotels in Bocas don't accept reservations and the upper class hotels require payments by credit card before arrival. In the reservation form you can write your suggestions on hotels.

Homes

If you prefer to live independent from the school, these homes might be perfect for you. You will have your private space to rest, cook and study.
These two Caribbean houses are located in the quiet but meantime lively, little neighbourhood of Saigon. The beach is around the corner and you are just a short bike - ride away from Bocas town. Both houses have spacious verandas and are surrounded by lots of trees and tropical plants. From your hammock you'll witness the daily activities that take place in the lives of the local people living around you, at the same time enjoying the hummingbirds visiting the garden. Both houses are provided with cable tv, wireless internet, security boxes and bikes.

Pick.up package

In order to easily get from Panama City to your accommodation of choice in Boquete, you can make use of our pick-up package which means you will be welcomed by a taxi driver carrying a sign with your name, at the International Airport (Tocumen ). He will then take you to the hotel that we use in Panama City, where you will have a private room, breakfast and internet use. Next morning or afternoon you will be taken from the hotel to the other, (Domestic) Airport, called Albrook for your less than one hour flight to David. At the Airport of David, there will be another taxi driver waiting to take you to your accommodation (of choice) The pick-up package includes all taxi trips, one night at the hotel, the domestic flight and the pick-up in David.

Each room can be shared by up to 2 students, but you if you don't mind paying a little more you can have your private room. There is also one private room with a private bathroom. A kitchen is available to everybody staying at school stay. There is Cable TV at the school, so lots of movies, music and information in Spanish (and English) is available. We also offer a continental breakfast in the morning.
