In Germany, the institution of Bildungsurlaub allows employees from any sector to receive up to an extra 5 days of educational leave that are to be used for professional advanced training.

You can take Bildungsurlaub approved Spanish classes in Costa Rica or Bildungsurlaub approved Spanish classes in Panama and receive 5 days of additional pay per year or, as in most provinces also save it up and take 10 days if you skip one year. make sure you take the Curso Intensivo (30 hours of lessons per week) altough we will soon be adding other options as well like Spanish & Culture so you can exchange some classroom study hours with fieldtrips where you practise Spanish and learn about the local culture.
